Can you play it? There’s not much more to say about Fortnite that hasn’t already been said. Chances are your grandfather who can’t use a mouse has heard of Fortnite. Fortnite has become synonymous with video games to the point where whenever I tell someone I write about games they say, “Oh yeah, my [son, daughter, whatever] loves Fortnite.” To be clear, though, the adoration is warranted. We’ve never seen a game quite like Fortnite, particularly when it comes to the ever-changing map and modes. As a free-to-play game, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t try Fortnite. It’s available on every current-generation console, PC, and mobile device. The cartoonish visuals are inviting and it never takes itself too seriously. While the shooting mechanics aren’t top-notch, the on-the-fly building feature is a marvel. Plus, it’s fun to see what changes will come next to the map, as Epic continues to tell a long-running story of sorts with each major change.

Monster video strain resource game pick of the day : As with the Battlefield titles before it, Battlefield V isn’t a very demanding game. However, even while running on minimum specs, it still looks exceptionally pretty. This is doubly true for the game at max settings, wherein it looks absolutely gorgeous. Its scenic WW2 environments are all fully realized, packed with detail, and more destructible than ever, all thanks to the current iteration of EA DICE’s Frostbite engine. Plus, the game supports real-time raytracing with RTX-capable cards, in case you own one of Nvidia’s latest and greatest. Recommended specs: CPU: Intel Core i7 4790, AMD Ryzen 3 1300X – RAM: 12GB – Storage: 50GB – GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB – OS: Windows 10. See more details on Can i run it?.

I like Star Wars games and usually this games are resource intensive. Shadows Of The Empire’s graphics haven’t aged very well, but that shouldn’t make it feel any less epic. The beauty of having the game take place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi is that it lets you play out so many cool moments connected to those films, like the Battle of Hoth and the confrontation with Boba Fett. Admittedly, this one was kind of clunky to play when it first came out, but an HD remake could iron out the kinks. The Phantom Menace was a pile of…bantha fodder. I’ll never forgive George Lucas for Jar Jar Binks, or for (spoiler alert!) killing off Darth Maul after having him on screen for about five minutes. But, it’s hard to argue against how exciting the Pod Racer scene was. Turns out, it didn’t make for a bad game, either. Originally for the Nintendo 64 (Dreamcast, PS2 and even a superior arcade machine version – complete with full-scale racer cockpit – were eventually produced too), Star Wars Episode I: Racer turned the scene quite effortlessly into a racing title. Somewhere between Wipeout and Mario Kart, it had a great campaign mode that let you upgrade parts for your pod racer, buying scrap from sleazy merchant Watto. With winding canyon courses that require you to do the floating-on-one-side-to-fit-through-a-chasm trick, it had a few heart-in-mouth moments, too.
